Q: Hi! I'm wondering how many points do I need to apply for PR? I just graduated from QUT in Bachelor of IT so I guess my points are not enough yet. I intend to continue my master degree (in IT) here but will my points be enough for applying for PR after I finish my master? Thanks, Mei

A: Under normal condition, Bachelor of IT is a 60 points skill and will be able to obtain total points of 120 points which is the pass point for Independent Skills Migration and can obtain PR when been approved. I suggest that you come to our office for a free consultation on details of other conditions. In your situation we would suggest that you apply for Independent Skills Migration as soon as possible and you are free to decide whether commence your work or continue to study for a Master Degree. When you obtain PR status, the cost of your study is much lower.
