Studying in Australia

Australia offers a relaxed and friendly environment and a wide range of courses in schools, colleges and universities to suit the needs of every student. We provide free information and consultation based on the requirement of each individual student.

We have a wide choice of schools and choices for students. Usually a package of ELICOS (English Language Incentive Course for Overseas Students) plus a formal course is offered so students have a definite goal for their study plan.

All the paper work, including application to the course and for the student visa is completed in minimal time.

Home-stays with Australian families can be arranged according to the student's wish.

Upon arrival at Brisbane, you will receive warm greetings from our staff, and be chauffeured to your accommodation.

During your period of study, our Brisbane office provides a friendly atmosphere to meet other overseas students, and includes facilities such as tea, coffee, Internet access and a small library.

The Australian education system

The Australian school year commences at the end of January and ends at the beginning of December, with some variability depending on the level of education. In general, primary schools (years 1-7) accept pupils from 6 years of age;, secondary schools (years 8-12) are for students from 13 to 18 years of age. Diploma and university courses have various entry requirements. We will be happy to discuss the various aspects of course selection with you.

English Language Courses

We can arrange ELICOS (English Language Incentive Course for Overseas Students) courses of various lengths at a number of English schools. Each school offers classes at different proficiency levels, and testing is performed regularly to ensure that the student fully benefits from tuition in the appropriate class.

English proficiency is required before entry into secondary school and formal courses. For secondary school, a secondary school preparation class may be useful. For diploma and university courses, the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test is required. Information on IELTS preparation classes and enrolment for this test is available from our staff.
